Meet: Singing Sensation Shefita (video)

The ‘Middle Eastern’ entertainer and her band join Josh Hasten to perform some of their viral hits, both covers of popular music and original songs.
First, Shefita discusses her fans, before performing her cover of the Nirvana classic, “Lithium.” She then talks about reacting to those who claim to be offended by her antics. She also performs her rendition of Radiohead’s “Karma Police,” which has generated more than one million Youtube views
